Arrow Gap Privacy Policy
Effective date:
This policy explains how information is handled when you use Arrow Gap, the Android game with package name com.donggegames.arrowgap. “We”, “us” and “our” mean the developer of Arrow Gap, reachable at the contact address below.
Game progress stays in the app’s local storage on your device. The game also uses Google advertising and consent services, which may process and share information as described below.
1. What information may be processed
Through Google Mobile Ads, the following categories of data may be collected and shared. The information processed depends on the service, your device, your choices and applicable requirements.
- Approximate location
- An IP address may be used to estimate a general location, such as a city or region. Arrow Gap does not request precise location or access your device’s GPS location.
- App interactions
- Information about interaction with the app and its advertising, such as app launches, ad views and taps.
- Diagnostics
- Performance and diagnostic information, such as startup timing, responsiveness and energy use.
- Device or other IDs
- Identifiers such as the Android advertising ID or App Set ID, where available and permitted. Different identifiers have different permitted uses; not every identifier is used for personalized advertising.
Separately, game progress, earned stars and points, the current puzzle state, and language, sound and vibration preferences are saved locally. We do not upload these game saves to a developer-operated server.
2. Google Mobile Ads / AdMob
Arrow Gap includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and uses AdMob to provide advertising. Google may collect and share the information described above to deliver and measure ads, operate its services and protect against invalid activity. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your choices, availability and applicable requirements.
Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing for purposes such as contextual ad delivery, measurement, frequency limits and fraud prevention. Choosing non-personalized ads does not mean that all data collection stops.
See Google Mobile Ads data disclosure and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
3. Google UMP / consent choices
We use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising privacy choices where required. UMP communicates with Google to determine which privacy messages and choices apply and to manage consent status.
Where the option is available, open Settings → Privacy choices in Arrow Gap to review or change your selections, including withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent. The entry is shown when Google UMP indicates that privacy options are required; available choices can vary by region and configuration.
A change applies to future processing as supported by the services. It does not, by itself, erase data already processed. Contact us if you need help finding the applicable privacy controls.
4. How information is used
The advertising-related data categories above may be used for:
- Analytics: understanding app and ad interactions, measuring performance and diagnosing technical issues.
- Advertising or marketing: delivering and measuring advertisements, including personalization where permitted.
- Fraud prevention, security and compliance: detecting invalid traffic and misuse, protecting services and meeting applicable obligations.
Local game data is used to resume play and retain your progress and preferences. We do not build our own advertising profiles or operate a cloud database of player profiles.
5. Data security
Data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS, a secure network connection. Arrow Gap is configured to disallow cleartext network traffic. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
6. No account system
Arrow Gap does not require registration and has no user account system, chat or developer-operated cloud user database. It does not offer in-app purchases, NFTs or cash rewards. There is no account to delete or cloud game-save account to manage.
7. Children / audience statement
Arrow Gap is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the matter and address information within our control.
Age 13 does not necessarily mean a person can consent to all data processing in every region. Advertising and consent choices remain subject to applicable age and regional requirements.
8. Third-party services
Google provides the advertising and consent services described in this policy. Its processing, including retention and available controls, is also explained in the Google Privacy Policy. We do not control Google’s systems or the privacy practices of an advertiser’s website or app that you choose to open.
9. Retention and deletion
Local game progress and settings remain in the app’s storage until they are changed or removed. You can remove this local data through Android’s app storage settings or by uninstalling the app. Clearing app storage removes saved progress and preferences.
Clearing local data or uninstalling Arrow Gap does not, by itself, delete information already processed by Google. Google retains and deletes information according to its own policies, processing purposes and applicable requirements. See Google’s retention policy and its privacy controls.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use this correspondence to respond to your request and retain it only for as long as needed to handle the matter or meet applicable obligations. You may request deletion of correspondence we hold, subject to those obligations. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
10. User choices
- Use the in-game privacy choices described above when available to review or change advertising consent.
- Use your Android privacy or ads settings to manage your advertising ID and available advertising controls. Options depend on the Android version and device.
- Review Google My Ad Center for Google account advertising controls, where applicable. These do not replace the in-game consent choices.
- Clear the app’s local storage to remove local game data, or stop using and uninstall the app.
- Contact us about information we hold or applicable privacy rights. For information held by Google, use the controls and contact routes in Google’s privacy policy.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its services or applicable requirements change. Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
